Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DoneLine — the apps and websites available at doneline.app and app.doneline.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The service

DoneLine is a personal task and project management service. A free tier is available, and some advanced features (such as AI assist, the focus timer and weekly reports) are offered as an optional paid "Pro" subscription. We may adjust which features belong to which tier over time.

Your account

You sign in with your email address via a magic link. You are responsible for maintaining access to that email address and for all activity under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions purchased on iOS are billed through your Apple account. Prices are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your device settings under Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies.

Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create in DoneLine. You grant us a limited license to store, transmit and process that content solely to operate the Service — for example, syncing it between your devices, creating backups, and running AI features when you invoke them. We claim no ownership of your content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or to store unlawful content;
• attempt to access other users’ data or probe, disrupt or overload the Service;
• circumvent usage limits, quotas or security measures;
• resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own offering.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided without uptime guarantees. We may change, suspend or discontinue features (or the Service) with reasonable notice where practicable. Because DoneLine is local-first, a copy of your data remains on your devices and can be exported at any time.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. AI-generated output may be inaccurate; review it before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 10 if you have paid nothing).

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this site. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
